Twenty-four photographs from a 2022 drive down Highway 395 east of the Sierras in California: Bodie's abandoned storefronts, the tufa spires at Mono Lake, the cracked rock formations above Alabama Hills, the overlooks at Zabriskie Point. Nothing staged, just car windows, motel parking lots, a stop at a hot spring along the way. This was Paulo Lopez's first submission to the Hawaii Zine & Print club, printed in a limited run, its cover title handwritten after the highway's own number.
